Yurt Living

Here is a picture of our yurt with a view of the other side of the valley in the distance. You can't see them, but there are probably a few bear up there.

Our first survey

We particularly enjoy heating our home with wood that we have felled, bucked and chopped ourselves. This winter we are lucky enough to have several cords of dry birch which Charles worked on all spring and fall. The wood cured during the long dry summer. We also have a cord or two of ponderosa pine and some mixed windfall.
